Étrangement cette ville moderne a un " je ne sais quoi" qui rappelle étrangement la ville de Vancouver ( Colombie-Britannique ). Certes sa position géographique l'a restreint dans toutes possibilités d'expansion territoriale, c'est donc le sens vertical qui ici optimise chaque mètre carré et c'est sans compter l'ingéniosité des architectures dont l'exploit réside à faire de cette ville, un endroit moderne aux structures quelquefois irréaliste comme Marina Bay Sands, récréatif avec ses pistes à vocation multiples, cyclable et pédestre.
Strangly enough, this modern city has a ‘’je ne sais quoi’’ which reminds me of Vancouver (BC). Its geographical position has hindered its growth. Therefore, it grows towards the sky to optimize each square meter. The architects are also very ingenious and have made this city look very modern with some unreal structures like Marina Bay Sands and its gardens where you can walk and cycle.

Singapore c'est aussi un grand centre d'art de rue à ciel ouvert. Le "Colonial District" et "Marina Bay" sont le cœur de Singapore. Singapore a su garder son passé britannique tout en prenant une allure du 21 iéme siècle. Culturellement, Little India nous transporte dans un autre monde où temples hindous, magasins de textile et vendeurs de bijoux en or nous fait oublier que nous sommes bien à Singapore. Chinatown ressemble à un autre Chinatown mais aux normes de l'ancienne colonie britannique un peu comme Little India d'ailleurs. Ajouté à tout cela, un système de transport efficace, moderne, et l'utilisation de la voiture n'est plus un absolu. Sans conteste, Singapore se hisse parmi les pays les plus riches en terme de Produit National Brut. Singapore serait-il l'endroit idéal pour se remettre d'un voyage fatiguant, déroutant quelquefois, dans un autre monde avant de mieux replonger dans cet espace fascinant, toujours changeant qu'est l'Asie du Sud-Est ?!
Singapore also has a lot of street art. The ‘’Colonial District’’ and Marina Bay are the heart of Singapore. Singapore has managed to retain his British past while at the same time embracing the 21st century. Culturally, Little India takes you in another world where Hindu temples, textile stores and sellers of gold jewelry makes you forget where you are. Chinatown looks like another Chinatown, but with the norms of the former British colony. And then you add an efficient transportation system and you don’t really need a car. Singapore has one of the highest Gross Domestic Product. Singapore may be an idéal spot to relax, sometimes puzzling, in another world before diving back into this fascination part of the world which is South East Asia.
