Strokers'

There does not seem to be much to see or do in Dallas, but in Dallas, you have Strokers! Strokers is a special place, slightly intimidating, strange but colorful with the  people who go there. This is the meeting point of the Harley Davidson amateurs of all kinds. This is a daily event for the Dallas people. Not only do you come here to listen to a band play, but also to meet friends. The orchestra is just part of the atmosphere and the decorum. They don't seem to play with much heart, but play anyway whether the crowd listens or not.

This is really a place where people come to show off their Harley, the prettiest, the noisiest, the weirdest, the most unique one. The crowd is mixed with young people and not so young people with white beards and tattoos. You also have girls with busts that interest all the males around, whether they have silicon or not...

At the beginning, Strokers was a store where the owner was personalizing his own Harleys and the ones that he was selling. Then, he turned his business into a success, as he sells and owns bikes that you will not see anywhere else. Stroker is a Harley Davidson store twined to a bar that you access with your bikes on the side of the building. This gives the owner of the Harley an opportunity to parade in front of the others. Everybody is either admiring or faking not to admire the latest purchase of one of these Harleys fans. They pop in, turn their engine off, drink a beer with a friend that they will meet there and after one hour or so, they leave again. When we were there, there were a couple of bikes belonging to the Bandidos...

There is also a garage in the back for the mechanics to play with their toys of one day.

One thing is sure, you don't see any dust at all on any of these motorcycles. Check out the pictures on Picassa.
