The park itself is 6 millions acres of preserved nature. Everything is breathtaking and man's footprint not too visible. Trails are in fact fairly limited and all outings have to be approved. The weather is not predictible here. You can experiment four seasons in one day. As far as we are concerned, despite a cloudy day, we have decided to take the bus, only way to reach the Visitor Center to discover how rich the nature is. Black bears, Grizzlies, wolves, moose and other animals are present. The human is not at his place here.

We won't see the ''Big One'' as the ''Koyukon Athabascan'' people called it. Too bad, but the rain, the cold have taken a toll on our will to see Mount McKinley (Denali). We are just telling each other that we could have waited a few days prior to seeing it.
